Living in Buffalo often means living with snow and most of the time there's a lot of it to deal with. However, sometimes it's just too much and you need to get away for a while.

Winter is on its way to making a big impact on all of Western New York and if you're anything like most of us, you're not ready for it. It seems like it was just last week it was in the mid-70s some bright sunny skies.
Now, looking at the most recent weather reports, there is a ton of snow on the way to the 716 and we maybe have to measure that snow in feet instead of inches.

So if you'd rather just hop on a plane and get away from the snow instead of picking up a pallet of salt and warming up the snowblower, then there are a few locations you can get to from Buffalo pretty quickly. Sometimes we just need to get away to a warm and snow-free environment for a few days.

Orlando, Florida
Just picture it, you frolicking around Disney, Universal, Sea World, and all those other attractions, while your friends and family shiver in snowy Buffalo sounds like a great idea to me.
Atlanta, Georgia
Atlanta is one of the best cities in the US to travel to and the capital city of Georgia has to offer tourists, go you can hop on a plane for around $100.
Miami (aka Fort Lauderdale), Florida
Now, while you won't fly directly into Miami, you can land in Fort Lauderdale and find yourself on South Beach in just about 30 minutes, and the best part is that South Florida has a very high likelihood of being snow free.
Las Vegas, Nevada
They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, so let's just stop talking about it and jet over there.

You can take a trip to LA to check out the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood. You could even roll through El Segundo because, number one: there's no snow, and number two: I think I left my wallet there a few years ago.

It seems that there are a lot of great places in Florida to fly to from Buffalo, but what is there to do in Tampa? Well, if you were me, you'd stop by a local big box store and pick up a folding table or two, then drive over to Tom Brady's house and jump thru it while wearing a Bills jersey.
