Drake had planned on releasing his newest album "Take Care" on October 24th to coincide with his 25th Birthday. Those plans had to be cancelled because he is in a legal battle over several samples on the album. He released this statement on his OVO blog:

I have completed 19 songs (17 on physical and 2 on bonus), and have run into a roadblock of clearing 3 samples in time to make the October 24th date. My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I NEED you to hear it.

November 15th is the date you will finally be able to hear his album "Take Care"

The choice was clear as day for me. November 15th you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings.

He also had to push back dates on his "Club Paradise" tour because several dates on the tour are in college towns, and he wanted the students to be able to participate in the tour. This will be an interesting end of the year for hip hop with Drake and Rick Ross both dropping albums within two weeks of each other.
