Scammers are pretending to be the DMV to steal from NY drivers. They are using images, logos, and content stolen from the DMV website to appear legit. The DMV warns drivers that there has been an increase in phishing messages regarding non-payment of E-ZPass tolls or fines. If you receive a message that seems suspicious, do not open any attachments or follow any links. You can report potential scams to dmv.sm.phishingattacks@dmv.ny.gov.
