Police In Buffalo Are Offering Rewards For Information In These 7 Cases
Crime Stoppers WNY is offering rewards to help apprehend suspects in these 7 cases. Information can be submitted anonymously by calling 716-867-6161 (although you probably won't be able to claim the reward) or through the "Buffalo Tips" app or by visiting Crime Stoppers' website.
**Each person who is wanted is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
1. Wanted: Damion Hill
Buffalo Police Department is looking for 24-year-old Damion Hill for criminal possession of a weapon. Hill is also wanted by the Town of Tonawanda Police Department for burglary and he has multiple warrants from across the state.
2. Homicide Victim: Andrew Spears
Crime Stoppers WNY is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Andrew Spears. On June 9, 2023, Andrew Spears was killed on Baynes Street in the City of Buffalo.
3. Homicide Victim: Antonio Broadus
Antonio Broadus was killed on Hirschbeck Avenue on May 10, 2023, in the City of Buffalo.
4. Wanted: Unknown Suspect
On June 1, 2023, just before 1 am, a female victim was attacked from behind by a male suspect. She was walking along Kenmore Avenue when suspect forced her up a driveway. The suspect took her to the ground and choked her. She fought back, scratching his face and eyes. He fled down Radcliffe Road toward the City of Buffalo.
The attacker is described as a black male, possibly between age 20-25 and approximately 5'4" tall with a dark complexion, short hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark sweatpants and dark shoes. The suspect is believed to have sustained scratches.
5. Homicide Victim: Ronnie Scott
Police need help solving a cold case almost a decade old. On August 13, 2014, Ronnie Scott was shot and killed at 197 Shirley Avenue in the City of Buffalo.
6. Homicide Victim: Tyrelle Patterson
Tyrelle Patterson was killed at 3355 Bailey Avenue in Buffalo on May 19, 2021.
7. Wanted: Unknown Suspect
Crime Stoppers WNY is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the driver responsible for the fatal hit-and-run that occurred on the 500 block of Howard Street in the City of Buffalo between 1:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. on May 7, 2023. The vehicle involved is believed to be a 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade with chrome accents and a gold New York State license plate.
