This past Saturday night history was made when Conway The Machine and Drumwork Music Group came back to Buffalo for the "Love Will Get You Killed" tour and sold out the iconic Town Ballroom.

I remember the moment Drumwork Music Group released the tour dates and just as quick as the dates were released, was just that quick the show sold out. As we waited in anticipation for the show I thought it was only right that I invite the Drumwork Music Group family to the studio to discuss the tour, their experience from city to city, and what we should anticipate for the sold-out show.

It was around 11PM we went live on air with Drumwork Music's own 7xve The Genius @7xveTheGenius, Jae Skeese @JaeSkeese  , OJ Barker @Think.OJ, Shots @almighdabestt not only did we discuss the tour but featured each of their new tracks and dropped a few exclusive tracks that have yet to become available.

During The Go Getta Mix, we all talked about how living and growing in Buffalo hit different with the opportunity to perform at the Town Ballroom and how legendary it would be. We all discussed how while in college we partied and threw parties at the Town Ballroom but this time it would be of so different. OJ Barker shared

" from partying in the pit to now performing on the stage this show is our homecoming"

And a homecoming it was! Saturday night was a movie as soon as I stepped into the Ballroom. To see the line leading into the venue and the packed out floor I knew that night was about to be one for the books. The show kicked off with a feature lineup of artist openers from Longisland to Buffalo and each one gave a great performance.

The show got started when OJ Barker took the stage with DJ T. and welcomed all of Buffalo to The Love Will Get You Killed tour. The energy was already high so OJ coming out just took it higher.

Right after Lucky Seven, performed Buffalo had the chance to witness Stove God Cooks.

And once Conway The Machine took the stage this is when the movie featured presentation kicked off.

Not only did Drumwork Music kill the stage but of course it wouldn't be right if Griselda didn't mob at the homecoming. During Conway set Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn and Armani Caesar took the stage.

I addition to the home team making their way home there were a few special guests in town who made their presence felt on stage like Trae Tha truth

The legend and Icone DJ Flash was also at the show.

As I stood in admiration filled with much motivation and the feeling of a proud family member, I watched knowing that these artists are the leading artist in the game and they are from Buffalo. The homecoming show at Town Ballroom was one for the books and if you missed it I feel bad for you. If you still want to see the show in Western New York make your way to Rochester show Water Street Music Hall Friday, October 29th. Get your tickets now!
