Conway The Machine Honored By Erie County Legislature
On more than one occasion, Rapper Conway The Machine has gone above and beyond to help those in need here in his hometown of Buffalo.
From donating food and supplies to frontline workers in the midst of the COVID-19 Crisis to supporting young entrepreneurs trying to start their own business; that commitment to giving back earned the ‘From King to a God’ rapper an illustrious award from the Erie County, New York Legislature.
During the State of District 2 Luncheon and Ceremony at the Northland Workforce and Training Center, Chairwoman of the Erie County Legislature April Baskin, who also represents this district, presented Conway with an Official Proclamation of Erie County.
It is his commitment to serve and support the City that raised him and his acts of gratitude in our community that deserves recognition

Having personally known Conway for many years I can say that this award is very well deserved. He is a role model of service that we all can look up to.

Today I was honored for all of my service to my community and the city of Buffalo during the pandemic and going forward. I’d like to give a SUPER special thank you to Erie county legislator @aprilbaskin716 for including me and recognizing me for our continued service to the community. 🙏 📸 @madeinewyork
I’m really speechless...the things that I do in the community I never really set out to do it for recognition, so to be recognized is an absolute honor for me.
