"This is a opportunity for all police officers across Western NY that have a heart for our community to walk and have dialogue with the people we proudly serve . We challenge Fire Departments, medical first responders, teachers, faith based community, corporate Buffalo, professional sports teams, community organizations, families, and all of Western NY to come out for a day of unity and peace to march as one." ~ Moe Badger via Facebook

The Unity Walk will take place on Sunday, June 28.  It will begin at City Hall and end at at Canalside.  The walk is open to all.

This is a great opportunity for the community and law enforcement, who want to work together to make our communities better, to join forces.  As we have discussions about the future of policing and how the African-American community has been policed, we need to be able to work together to create an environment where there is justice and we can all feel safe.
