Buffalo’s Own C4 2Times Finds Purpose in Music
The start of Buffalo’s own C4 2time’s rap career came after his dreams of making it to the NBA were derailed due to injuries, grades and bad mentorship. Even though he didn’t realize his dreams on the court, he carried the name C4 to the booth which originally came from his basketball prowess being that he was very explosive, quick and exciting to watch. C4 2times, real name Darale Young was born and raised on the Eastside of Buffalo and is known for his captivating lyricism, punchlines, and witty slang leaving the music consumer on the edge of their seat. He released his first music video for his single “Glaze” in July of 2020 and haven’t let up since. Shortly thereafter he dropped another visual for his single “Get In My Bag’ which featured 456 Stokey and then his highly anticipated debut album.
The long awaited album “Glaze Season” features 11 songs that details his exhilarating escapades with the opposite sex as well as his the struggles and hustles with coming up on the Eastside of Buffalo, through out the project he displays his song making and lyrical abilities. C4 2times continued to deliver musically with yet another album drop entitled “Sincerely Yours” in March 2021 which is described as the best of both worlds. It encompasses upbeat, club and radio bangers but also mellows out with a vibe that all music lovers alike can appreciate. When asked what his fan favorites were off the album, he replied with “Drippy, Whipping and Meeting in the Traphouse” as being among the standouts on the project.
