Buffalo Woman Spits On Postal Worker

Such a nasty thing to do in our own backyard at a time like this.

According to WGRZ reports Cheektowaga Police said a mail carrier was verbally assaulted and spit on by a Melissa Daniels Johnson, of Buffalo, at the Cheektowaga Post Office.

The worker was collecting mail from the blue mailbox when Johnson entered the wrong way The mail carrier then told Johnson she entered the parking lot the wrong way and she became aggressive and abusive to the mailman by then. She then claimed she tested positive for COVID-19 before spitting at the mail carrier. Thank goodness he shielded his face and spit got on his clothing.

Johnson faces a maximum of eight years in prison for assault of a federal employee.
