Buffalo Rapper Savv Talks New Music, Record Deal And Beating The Odds [INTERVIEW]
The streets of Buffalo, New York can be rough, hence the nickname "Ruff Buff" that the Queen City has earned throughout the years. Unfortunately many succumb to the the negative aspects of Buffalo, but there's some Buffalonians who excel and use the struggle as fuel to escape through creativity and rapper Savv is one of them.
A trend with a lot of artists is finding hometown support and Savv unfortunately has dealt with that struggle as well but he still perseveres to put out great music and build his following by doing so. Recently signed to Solo Records, Savv is working on putting the final touches on his debut album "Came Along Way" and in the meantime his single "5AM" which is out on all platforms is keeping the anticipation built up for the project.
While the visuals for 5AM are in the works as well, SAVV is staying focused in the studio and off the streets. With his new deal, he's planning to keep his foot on the gas and become a force to reckon with in the music industry. Savv blogs his journey on his Youtube and there you can also find his latest videos as well. You can also check out his music at music.apple.com/us/album/5am-single/1550608197 and follow him on Instagram.
I caught up with Savv on IG Live to discuss his artistry, his new deal with Solo Records, plans for his future with music and more. Check it out below and be sure to support!
