Buffalo's own up and coming rapper Brother Tom SOS has overcome immeasurable odds to contribute to the music culture. Just as many other artists who've emerged on the scene, a religious background has been the base of their musical talents. This was the case with Brother Tom as well. He struggled to pay ode to his religious musical background, and seek approval from family members who wanted him to stay away from the secular music scene all while trying to find his place in the world as a writer, singer and rapper.

Through perseverance and hard work, he's managed to make his opposers, believers and solidify himself as a force in the music industry, which can be a tough feat especially with coming from a city that doesn't make it very easy to do so. In additional to the obvious obstacles he faced, while trying to advance his career in another city, he received news that no one wants to hear and had to return home immediately. In an unfortunate tragedy, he lost his brother to gun the gun violence that plagues buffalo, New York. Since then he's restructured his vision and began going harder than ever to become the artist his brother always told him he could be.

I sat down with Brother Tom SOS #OnTheRoxx to discuss how he overcame these and other obstacles, he gives advice to other upcoming artists and we also discussed his latest projects and more! Be sure to also follow Brother Tom & Support his movement,
