Buffalo ‘Peacemakers’ Initiative to Help Gang Members ‘Get Out for Good’

A Buffalo organization called "Peacemakers" has launched a commendable initiative that humbly seeks to focus on young people involved in Buffalo gangs. However, rather than set their sites on simply "stopping gangs", this initiative's focus is aimed at the individuals who make-up the gangs.

The approach is such that these young people are not to be treated as or approached as criminals, rather the approach is respectful in that Peacemakers is treating each gang member as an important individual with something to offer society.

Kudos to Pastor James Giles, who headlines the Peacemakers Initiative, says his effort is to address violence in the Buffalo Community in an innovative fashion.
