Buffalo Bus Aide Admits to Hitting Student with Shoe

A Buffalo school bus aide admitted to hitting a kid with a shoe! The Erie County D.A. announced that a bus aide hit a 9-year-old student with a shoe, according to WKBW. Anthony Lanier pleaded guilty to striking the autistic child with the child's shoe during his hearing on Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to one count of attempted endangering the welfare of an incompetent person. Lanier is facing one year behind bars and will be sentenced in July. The incident happened on December 11th or last year. He hit the child in the face, causing an abrasion. He has been fired from his position.
