Former NFL star Eric Moulds is being sued for intentionally giving the woman herpes simplex virus type 2, an incurable sexually transmitted disease. Mould is accused of spreading the STD to multiple women, according to the lawsuit, which was filed on December 10, 2024. The WNY woman claims in her lawsuit that Moulds "knew, or should have known he had a sexually transmitted disease.”

According to BroBible, his fiance contacted the woman and told her, “she should get tested for sexually transmitted diseases because she, along with other women whom Defendant had relationships with, had been transmitted diseases by him.” His fiance had been with him for 8 years at the time and was pregnant by him.

The woman says that Moulds was “sued by several women for knowingly spreading herpes over a decade ago.” She says he paid the women off and made them sign non-disclosure agreements so that they couldn't tell anyone about what Moulds was doing. The Tonawanda woman says he offered her the same deal but she rejected the offer. According to the Buffalo News, she said, “I think about women that may be in the same situation I am, and I know what I would have liked to have seen for myself.”

Moulds was a wide receiver in the NFL. He played for the Buffalo Bills from 1996 to 2005. He also played for the Houston Texans in 2006 and the Tennessee Titans in 2007.
