Buffalo Bills QB Ties The Knot Over The Weekend
It looks like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stafani were not the only ones to tie the knot over the long 4th of July weekend.
Buffalo Bills backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky and his fiance Hillary Gallagher got married in Cleveland on Saturday, July 3rd.
The first report of the couple dating came on social media in 2019 and they announced that they got engaged in January of this year.
Mrs. Trubisky shared the news with several photos that she posted on her Instagram page.
Trubisky signed with the Buffalo Bills this past off-season after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears.
Trubisky was drafted #2 overall and by the Bears in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was also the first QB drafted that year ahead of other quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and DeShaun Watson.
His time with the club had its ups and downs and he was released after the 2020 season. In his career, Trubisky has thrown for just over 10,000 yards 64 touchdowns along with 37 interceptions.
He has 1057 career rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns too.
Trubisky is expected to only stay in Buffalo for one season. After being released from the Bears, most experts expected him to learn from the Bills coaching staff and provide a steady back-up for Bills star QB Josh Allen.
If all goes well for him this season, he is expected to compete for a starting job somewhere in the league.
Congrats to Mitch and Hillary and we are always excited to welcome in a new member of Bills Mafia.
