BREAKING: Fire In Downtown Buffalo Causes Significant Smoke
If you were in Downtown Buffalo on Tuesday around the noon hour, then chances are you see a cloud of smoke in the air.
That's because there was a pretty large fire that is going on along Elm Street at the National Grid substation in the City of Buffalo.
Fire crews are at the scene and it looks as if it is under control. There are no reports yet of injuries.
FBNY reports that a reactor on fire also started a one-story building on fire. That fire was put out. Damage was reported as $150k to the reactor and $20k to the one-story building.
The cause for the fire is electrical.
