Boosie Badazz is heading to Hollywood. The Louisiana rhymer will try his hand in acting with his first feature-length movie.

Variety reports Boosie will appear in a boxing film called Glass Jaw. The flick is about a one-time boxing champion (played by model-turned-actor Lee Kholafai) who loses everything after he goes to prison. Despite his setback, the boxer is determined to redeem his reputation inside and outside of the ring. Badazz will play a boxing bettor and underground fight club operator with street smarts who wins money on Kholafai’s character’s fight. Glass Jaw is directed by Jeff Celentano and produced by Steve Perry and Zeus Zamani. The project is currently filming in Los Angeles.

This is a good look for Boosie and the movie is right up his alley. From 2009 to 2014, the rap vet was locked up in Louisiana State Penitentiary on drug charges. After he was released, Boosie has been steadily grinding and redeeming his good name. So much so, he officially changed his name from Lil Boosie to Boosie Badazz.

Salute to Boosie for expanding his horizons outside of rap.
