This week’s “Bonus Beats Thursday Remake/Retake features the song “Love Don’t Love Nobody” by the Spinners. Released in 1974 “Love Don’t Love Nobody” reached as high as #4 on the Billboard R&B Chart.

Now in 1995 Phil Perry the former member of the group the Montclairs covered “Love Don’t Love Nobody” and although it did not have much success on the charts, it was and is still one of the most well done remakes in recent history.
