Brooklyn Rapper, Bobby Shmurda, was arrested at the end of last year after police were monitoring his "GS9" crew for months. He was hit with several charges and will begin trial June 25th.

Bobby Shmurda as well as another member of his GS9 crew, Rowdy Rebel, are being held at New York's Ryker's Island prison on $2 Million bail. The two were in court for a hearing yesterday where the Manhattan Supreme Court announced that their official trials will begin on June 25th.

After the hearing, Shmurda's attorney, Kenneth J. Montgomery,  spoke with XXL “This is a show and [the prosecutors] have to justify the show,” Montgomery said. “At the trial we’ll see what this is really about.”
