Bills Fans Donate $265,000 To Lamar Jackson Charity
Buffalo fans again show the country that their heart is in the right place. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson left the game in the second half Saturday in concussion protocol, so Bills fans began donating to “Blessings in a Backpack,” a Jackson-led charity helping feed children in Louisville.
According to WIVB-TV the folks who run the Lousiville charity were shocked Sunday finding thousands of donations pouring in from Buffalo.
Bills Mafia was inspired to support Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson’s favorite charity after he was pulled in the second half for concussion protocol.
Bills fans have been donating in huge numbers to ‘Blessings in a Backpack’, national organization that feeds kids on weekends when they’re not in school.
Nikki Grizzle, Marketing Officer for the organization was quoted as saying...
“I love to believe that you all have karma on your side because it’s amazing, and I didn’t know how amazing Bills fans were until this morning, and I was hearing all of the good deeds that you did for Andy Dalton’s charity and the children’s hospital in Buffalo. I mean, it’s just… amazing people.”
As of Sunday night, Bills fans have made more than 10,000 donations totaling over $265,000.
