Amazing Billboard In Buffalo Promises to Pay You $5 to Meet a Cow [PHOTO]
In a world with so many advertisements, commercials and billboards, it's easy to just not paying attention to it. We can all be so busy during the day, much of it appears as white noise. It's normal.
However, sometimes you are so struck by something that it makes you stop and appreciate it. It's so mesmerizing you have to stare at it.
That's what I felt like when I saw a billboard on an NFTA bus here in Buffalo on Wednesday, driving into work.
Maybe you have seen it? It simply says that you can be paid five dollars, for simply meeting a cow.
Yes, meeting a cow.
I mean, of course I had to check it out.
It's for an outreach program of Asha's Farm Sanctuary, located in Newfane.
Their website explains that Asha's Farm Sanctuary is named after president and founder Tracy Murphy's dog, Asha.
Asha died of cancer at the age of 11, and soon after, a farm sanctuary was founded and named after her. You can actually meet cows, sheep and other animals at Asha's. They have public and private tours, and an event called "Kiss a Cow Day" at the sanctuary this June, with music performers and more.
Pretty cool how something so simple and funny, can leave an impression on you. Sometimes, you just need a billboard like this to leave a person wondering. That cow's face looking right at me while I was stuck in traffic made my morning.
