The casino and horse track have reopened, following New York State's guidelines. There are new procedures that employees and patrons will need to follow, according to WGRZ. If you go, be prepared to have your temperature taken. Other procedures have been put in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19, including wearing masks, social distancing and limitations on where food and beverages can be consumed. Batavia Downs will increase its cleaning and sanitizing. More than 120 hand sanitizing stations have been placed around the facility.

Henry Wojtaszek, the President and CEO of Batavia Downs, told WGRZ,

“We are so looking forward to welcoming back our guests. Our staff is working diligently on providing a safe, secure entertainment environment for everyone to return to and enjoy.”

New Procedures at Batavia Downs Gaming:

- Masks are required
- Temperature checks will be conducted
- Patrons must socially distance (floor signs will indicated distance)
- Food and drinks must be consumed in restaurants and bars
- Guests should wash hands frequently
- If you are feeling sick, stay home
