What To Know About Allegany County’s Latest Restaurant Inspections
Allegany County has published a list of restaurants that had health code violations during their latest inspections in December. Health code inspectors issue violations for things like "Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean," or "Food not protected during storage, preparation, display, transportation and service, from potential sources of contamination (e.g., food uncovered, mislabeled, stored on floor, missing or inadequate sneeze guards, food containers double stacked)." Some restaurants are issued critical violations, such as "Toxic chemicals are improperly labeled, stored or used so that contamination of food can occur."
There were 7 restaurants and other spots, like schools and legions, that did not pass their inspections.
