
AfroDogs 1st Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event
AfroDogs and The Witness Program are teaming up for a much needed Breast Cancer Awareness Event this coming Saturday, October 14 at the AfroDogs Main Office at 1095 Genesee Street.
The AfroDogs Breast Cancer Awareness Event is also a Health & Wellness Fair and will address not only Breast Cancer Awareness, but also a myriad of Health & Wellness issues including Nutrition, HIV, Diabetes, Domestic Violence, etc. The event comes at a perfect time, as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer is one of the leading causes of death among African-American women as they are diagnosed with Breast Cancer less frequently than White women, however African-American women are known to develop a deadly form of Breast Cancer and at an earlier age than the average White woman ... and ... die much faster from the rare Breast Cancer which African-American women are mysteriously diagnosed with.
