Suspicious Item Shut Down a Buffalo Area Street in WNY!

Talk about a Toy Story! A suspicious toy in Lockport, NY, shut down an entire street Monday night! Find out what kind of item caused the drama!

The drama popped off at Toys From Lo, which sells vintage games, toys and military items, in Lockport on Monday evening! After the customer left, the owner, Joshua Lopez, saw a silver canister that was marked “44 millimeter grenade,” according to WIVB.

Not knowing whether it was a toy or the real thing, cops were called in and shut down the street as a safety measure. It turns out, it was not an explosive, rather it was a piece of medical equipment.
