A Mother’s Love

I read a tragic story this morning that is a true testament to a mother's love and brought me to tears. A mother who lost her life Friday afternoon  after saving her 3-year-old son from their burning home. Lequeisha Watkins, her fiance and 2-year-old son made it out of their home safely when Lequeisha did something any mother would do and ran back inside after she realized their 3-year-old son Malachi Norman was still inside. When firefighters responded to the blaze at Timon Street in Buffalo, they found Lequeisha and Malachi in a rear bedroom. Lequeisha was placed on life support at Erie Community Medical Center and later passed away from her injuries. Her son is currently at Women and Children's Hospital. God bless her children and family.
