I found this trip to Miami for under $300 for a round-trip ticket out of Buffalo. I used to live in Florida and attended Florida A & M University, so I personally recommend a trip down "souf" to ease some of the pain of Buffalo winters. I usually stay in Ft. I grew up in Tucson, and if you're looking for heat, Arizona got that for you. While I would never live in AZ again, it's a great place to visit if you want to be a "snow bird," which is someone who escapes the snow for the warmth.

American Airlines has a flight to AZ for under $400 ($394), in December, when things start getting a bit chilly in NY.
