4 Erie County beaches Don’t allow this.

Wow im shocked the one life saving item is not allowed

In Erie County, three beaches on Lake Erie and Bennet Beach, don't allow life jackets or floatation devices of any kind. Lake Erie Beach and Evans Town Park Beach, both operated by the Town of Evans.

The ban of life jackets of any kind. According to the town, the jackets can cause problems for life guards trying to treat a neck or back injury. The vests can also slow down life guards trying to perform CPR.

Woodlawn Beach in Hamburg and Green Lake Beach in Orchard Park Allows the use of life jackets.

It is pretty weird though a beach bans life jackets seems a little strange but then again I can see them getting in the way of life saving events but in the same time prevent life-threatening events,
