10 Stupid Mistakes That Can Earn You A Parking Ticket In Buffalo
We've all been there before. We are in a rush, or we are just not paying enough attention when we get somewhere...then when we get out...we've got a ticket.
For a long stretch of time, I was really racking them up when I worked in Buffalo. I always felt so surprised when I'd come out and see that nasty yellow envelope on my windshield telling me that I had screwed up.
And there are such little things that can get you sometimes.
We all know that we can't park in a handicap spot without a handicap sticker or near a fire hydrant but did you know you aren't allowed to park on a bridge? Hopefully you did.
I got caught for a couple of things on this list in the past here in Buffalo. Some that stand out are the one about not parking on a bus route. When I picked the ticket off my windshield I was completely flabbergasted. I had no idea that was a thing! It was my fault. It was a thing, I just didn't know about it.
The other ones I accidentally violated were the ones about parking too close to a crosswalk and the one about blocking a handicap cut out. The one with the crosswalk I was just running late and had to get into work, so I took a chance and lost. The one with the handicap cut out, I just didn't realize it was there or I wouldn't have done it. I'm not that big of a jerk.
