Now when “Woman To Woman” by Shirley Brown was released, I was about 10 years old. In fact, I remember hearing this song for the first time while visiting relatives in Chicago. I mean around 1974 and that era in particular, were the golden years of great R&B music and this song held the #1 position for two consecutive weeks on the R&B Charts.
