Tank & Tamar Braxton Are Bringing R&B Back To Western New York

Tank & Tamar Are Coming To Set Off An TnT Explosion Of R&B In Buffalo

Rhythm and Blues have a long and distinguished history in Western New York. Since the creation of the genre of music in the 1940s, it has helped shape Buffalo for years.

Two of the best R&B singers out today are swinging by Buffalo to put on a great show inside the historic Shea's Performing Arts Center.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, Tank & Tamar Braxton will have an explosion of R&B on that history stage, a TnT Explosion, and fans of the two amazing singers are in for a great show.

Tank

Born Durrell Artaze Babbs in Milwaukee, WI, Tank started his R&B singing career as a backup singer for Aaliyah. After signing with Aaliyah's recording label Blackground Records, Tank began his solo music career.

Tank has released ten solo albums and one collaborative album with Tyrese and Ginuwine over his career. His work has earned him numerous award nominations, including 4 Grammy nominations. Tank has also appeared in several movies and TV shows over his career.

Tamar Braxton

Born Tamar Estine Braxton, Tamar started her singing career in the early 1990s as a founding member of The Braxtons. This R&B singing group was comprised of her and her sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina.

Over her career, Tamar has released five studio albums and has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Grammy. She won a BET Music Award and Two Soul Train Music Awards. In addition to her work in R&B, she starred in 5 movies and countless television shows and was nominated for an EMMY twice.
