Should You Avoid Social Networking Sites When in a Committed Relationship? [THE SCENARIO]

Getty Images

Tonight’s Scenario comes from a listener who feels he shouldn’t give up social networking for his relationship:

Dear DJ Supreme,

Me and my girl get into arguments constantly over Twitter and Facebook. It’s either over me being friends with someone, tweeting someone or about something she thinks I shouldn’t be. She wants us to get rid of our Twitter and Facebook pages and I really don’t see the big deal. Do you think her request is reasonable or irrational?

Do you think that if you are in a committed relationship, you should avoid social networking?
