Rally Planned Today @ 5 Outside Buffalo Teachers Federation Office

Well it looks like the Buffalo Teachers Federation is back at it again, rejecting another teacher evaluation plan for the children at our most at-risk schools. The schools and students that are in the most trouble are those schools that are “constantly low achieving “ by the Department of Education-those in the bottom 5% of the country.

Parents and community advocates are calling for the Buffalo Teachers Federation to reconsider its position so that our community’s most vulnerable children do not continue to be put in jeopardy. There is a rally planned today at 5pm outside of the Buffalo Teachers Federation offices at 271 Porter, at the corner of Niagara. We must continue to put our children’s interest ahead of adult interest to find solutions to these challenges.
