Parenting Gone Wrong — Accused Shoplifter Runs Over Son In Attempt To Get Away

A mother in Georgia was caught shoplifting and was followed out the door of the store into the parking lot. When a security officer asked her to stop, she jumped in her car, not realizing that her 4-year-old son had not made it inside the vehicle. She put the pedal to the metal and ran over the boy.

After becoming aware of what she had done, she quickly jumped out of the car, grabbed her son, threw him in the car and drove off, only to be stopped again by another officer, who held her there until an ambulance could arrive. Authorities say the boy is in critical condition.

She has been charged with motor vehicle injury, driving on a suspended license and other charges.

This is another case of parenting gone wrong!
