The city of Buffalo has been plagued with deadly violence over the past couple weeks and residents want the violence to stop. People from all over the city came together yesterday afternoon to walk for unity in the community and speak for loved ones they've lost due to senseless violence.

Cease Fire is a revolutionary movement started by filmmaker Korey Green and Julian Russell to promote peace. The walk started from Delavan Avenue and continued down Bailey Avenue as citizens held signs and remembered family and friends affected by gun violence.

The organizers of Cease Fire are also putting together a documentary to spread the word about non-violence and be on the look out for more from Knuckle City Films. Thank goodness the rain held off for such a successful event. Check out the news footage below!!
