Early voting in New York starts on Saturday, Oct. 24, and a bunch of community organizations want you to come out and march with them to raise awareness of voting.

The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, in partnership with other community groups like Open Buffalo, Community Access Services of WNY, NAACP Buffalo Branch, 1199SEIU, and more are hosting their CommUNITY Early Voting March & Experience called Souls To The Polls.

The march is going to begin at approx. 12:30 p.m. at Community Access Services, located at 3297 Bailey Ave., near the corner of Shirley Ave.

Participants will then march from the corner of Bailey Ave. and Shirley Ave. to The Gloria J. Parks Community Center located at 3242 Main St. where people can begin casting their votes.

There will be an opportunity for people to learn more about the electoral process in New York. There will also be refreshments and some live entertainment.

Early voting in New York is available to all registered voters every day until Sunday, Nov. 1. You can start casting your ballot at noon during the early voting period.

Registered voters will be able to cast their ballot at any of the thirty-seven (37) designated early voting locations.
