Young Dro Sentenced to 45 Days in Jail for Violating Probation
Young Dro could be spending the next 45 days in jail.
The Atlanta rapper was sentenced to spend a month and a half after he was found guilty for breaking his probation.
In March 2015, Dro was charged for "theft by conversion" for not returning a car that he borrowed. The charge had him facing ten years. But, instead he was sentenced to three years of probation with a $1,000 fine.
However, after nearly a year on probation, the Georgia Southern University Police found a gun and marijuana on Dro -- two clear violations of his probation. According to theJasmineBrand.com, Dro will be in a jail cell until Oct. 12. (He was credited time served from his arrest on Aug. 28).
Unfortunately for Dro, he won't be able to vote until his probation is up. It seemed that if Dro still had his ability to vote he would likely go for the Republican hopeful, Donald Trump.
Earlier this year, Dro told DJ Smallz that he wants Trump to win.
“I’m into politics. I feel good about politics and the way it’s going down. I hope Donald Trump do win,” he said. “Go Trump!”
But outside of his controversial political choice, Dro has his own set of issues as well. Dro's been working with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star, Joseline Hernandez, on her music -- he even made an appearance on the hit reality series. But that's not what's got viewers pressed. Many speculate that Dro is the father of Hernandez' unborn child -- despite her claims that Stevie J is the father.
Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure, Dro surely has a lot on his plate.
