Born in Chicago on April 12, 1940, Herbert Jeffrey Hancock, who is better known as Herbie Hancock, is a bandleader, composer, and jazz musician who has been in the American music scene for more than 60 years and has racked up a musical catalogue that is the envy of just about everyone.

With numerous more than 100 albums being released over his career, Hancock has earned countless awards, like an Academy Award and 14 GRAMMY's, over his career.

If you're a fan of Jazz, then you have to make sure you see him when he comes to Western New York.

Hancock is performing live at the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts main stage on Sunday, November 2, 2025, as part of his 2025 North American tour.
