If You’re Going to Walden Galleria Tomorrow, Be Aware Of This
March isn’t typically as busy for shoppers in malls and retailers like it is for the fall and holiday season, but there are some places that still get busy at any time of the year.
One of those places is the Walden Galleria.
The most popular mall in Western New York can still get busy on weekends and after 4 pm, but if you’re shopping there tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23rd, then there’s something you should be aware of.
On Wednesday, the Walden Galleria will be conducting a security drill. This will happen during normal shopping hours, per WIVB.
At 11:15 am, the security drill will commence and there will be an announcement about the drill starting. The drills should only last around 15 minutes, but it’s important to know if you’re going to be shopping at the Walden Galleria tomorrow morning.
This drill will be the first “quarterly” drill to happen in 2022 and will help customers and employees in case an actual emergency will take place.
The Walden Galleria is a giant complex, so chances are there will be people in there who don’t realize what’s going on. If you are going there tomorrow, maybe helping fellow shoppers out on the situation.
The Walden Galleria has had multiple fights and incidents there over recent years, as the mall and Cheektowaga Police attempt to crackdown and prevent any further incidents from happening at the mall.
