Voter Registration and US Census Outreach Event on Saturday
The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals are hosting a Voter Registration and Census 2020 Event on Saturday, September 26th.
With this being described as the most important election cycle in generations, it's more important than ever for the people to participate in our democracy.
Two ways that we all can participate in this democracy is voting and completing the census.
We have all the information you need about getting registered to vote in this year's Election Cycle and what to do to complete the 2020 Census 2020 here on our website.
Be seen. Be Heard. Vote Nov. 3rd
Remember, don't be silent! You can make sure your voice is heard.
The event, which is happening from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., will take place 2201 Bailey Ave., at the corner of E. Ferry St. on the Eastside. You will be able to register to vote, learn all about your voter rights, and representatives from the US Census Bureau will be on hand to help you complete your 2020 Census.
There will be free food and gift bags for those who attend.
This event is free and open to the entire community.
