The deadly incident happened at the Ferry Grider Homes housing complex. A group of people were in the courtyard to watch a fireworks display. Richardson and Robinson are accused of firing into the gathering.

The toddler, 3-year-old Shaquelle Walker, Jr., was hit in his head by a bullet and died from his injuries 4-days later, on July 9 at Oishei Children’s Hospital. There were three other victims - a 27-year-old man who was shot in both of his legs, a 28-year-old man who was shot in his foot and a 29-year-old man who was shot in his back. Those victims survived their injuries.

The following day, July 6, police searched the residence where the pair lived on Slate Creek Drive and found an illegal pistol and a rifle. They are due back in front of a judge on the morning of Tuesday, September 21, at 9:30 am. Richardson and Robinson will remain behind bars until that date, as they have been remanded without bail. They are facing a sentence of 25 years to life behind bars, if convicted for this horrific crime.
