According to the job listing, the position requires a variety of daily duties, including operating security equipment, searching passengers entering the airport terminal, giving directions and answering questions, and more.

Transportation Security Officers are responsible for providing security and protection of travelers across all transportation sectors in a courteous and professional manner.
