Applications for this program, which makes $100 Million available to residents of New York, are only being accepted through July 30th. So if you, or anyone you know, are in need of assistance with your rent, now is the time to apply.

You can use this Eligibility Calculator that was created by HCR to help you figure out if you qualify.

But, what if you can’t complete it online and you don’t have access to print the forms to send them in? There are plenty of local non-profit agencies in WNY who are ready to assist you. Organizations like Housing Opportunities Made Equal and The Buffalo Urban League are on stand-by to help you out - but you have to act now.

We have the technology and capacity to help any of our neighbors who may need help turning-in their paperwork for this amazing program.
-Brenda McDuffie, President & CEO of the Buffalo Urban League

Even though the Federal Government is working on another Stimulus package, don’t wait until the last minute to apply.

If you have additional questions about this program, you can reach out to NYSHCR Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. at 1-833-499-0318 or via e-mail here.
