The Taste of Buffalo Will Be in Person This Summer
The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops is going to be an in-person event this year. The festival is planned for July 10 and 11, 2021. It will be held in its long-time regular location on Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo. According to a press release I received, it will be held as multiple ticketed sessions. The planning team said they are of course keeping COVID-19 in mind.
The 2021 Chair of the Taste of Buffalo, Amber Hartman, said,
"The Taste of Buffalo has always existed to support our locally-owned restaurants. After so many of them have endured unthinkable hardships during the pandemic, our mission is more important now than ever. We are working with our state and county officials to follow all safety guidelines that may be in place come this July. We hope this announcement gives our community something to look forward to this summer and sends a message to our local restaurants that better days are ahead."
The press release says that details about how and where to buy tickets for the event will be released in the near future. You can visit tasteofbuffalo.com for more information. You can also check it out on social media, visit @tasteofbuffalo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
It's great to hear that the event will be held in person again. Last summer the Taste was virtual, which was unique and different, but it's not the same as having an in-person event. I've thoroughly enjoyed previous Tastes of Buffalo festivals. Buffalo has amazing food. It's also great to meet different people, see the entertainment and just enjoy the weekend.
