Temps Near 70 Degrees Next Week In Western New York
A sure sign of spring hits Western New York today, as the Buffalo Bisons take the field at home in Buffalo to kick off what will be their first full season at home in three years. When the Bisons take the field later today against the Iowa Cubs, it will actually be the first professional game played in America for the 2022 season. The first pitch is set for 1:05 pm. And while the weather today should be nice for the game, with highs in the low 60s, next week Western New York will be getting its first real dose of spring.
The next 7 days aren't going to be great, but they won't be too bad either. Temps will be in the upper 50s or low 60s for the next couple of days, and then we see a dip back into the 40s over the weekend. And yes, there is even a slight chance that some of the white stuff will fall, but let's not talk about that. On to the good news.
After the weekend is when the warming trend starts. Monday bounces back with a high near 60. Tuesday, we can expect to push 65 degrees for the high, and then the first real shot of spring air arrives.
Rochester's WHEC is reporting that we can expect a high of 70 degrees in Western New York, net Wednesday the 13th.
There will be a mix of sun and clouds during the day, but it should be rain-free. The warming trend continues on Thursday the 13th. There will be some rain developing, but temps will remain very spring-like, with a high near 68F.
