Kane, who is currently a free agent, is rumored to be interested in signing with only a handful of teams, and two of those teams are here in New York State.

This Patrick Kane alleged rape case is weird to me.  Doesn't RAPE imply that there was a sexual encounter of some sort?  How is it in most cases THESE DAYS, women who are BRAVE ENOUGH to come forward are taken seriously...but in this case, regarding National Hockey League star Patrick Kane, the alleged victim seems to be the accused...

Rape is SERIOUS ... but women are almost ALWAYS looked at as though they MUST HAVE provoked the actions of a man who has aggressively violated her sexually. The fact that women have a difficult time proving, or even having someone believe, they were Raped, especially when it's "Date Rape"...
