Here is another classic song that more than likely had an impact on Mary J. Blige when she was a young child. It was released in 1975 by Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and climbed all the way to the #1 position on Billboards R&B chart and remained there for two consecutive weeks; and was certified gold!

R&B magazine recently did its research on the 10 wealthiest R&B artists dead or alive. There are a couple of surprises in my opinion with one artist not making the list at all and the artist that made it to the number 10 position.

Commercials may not be her thing, but perhaps television is. Mary J. Blige has signed on to be a judge on ‘Opening Act,’ a talent search-style reality TV show set to air on the E! network.

We love the Queen of Hip Hop Soul! But we the fans were not impressed by her latest endorsement. The  folks at Burger King promptly pulled the TV ad featuring MJB dancing on the table top and singing about friend chicken! Details and Video Inside

This week’s ‘American Idol‘ mentor Mary J. Blige took to the stage tonight to perform her hit ‘Why.’ All class, dressed in a pants suit and some chunky jewelry, the living legend totally killed it. But were the judges into it?

Mary J. Blige can do no wrong in our book. The veteran songbird comes through with another visually-stunning video for ‘Mr. Wrong,’ the latest single from her LP ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1).’ The clip features Blige in several different glamorous outfits and wigs that are reminiscent of her style during the ‘My Life’ album period.

Being in graduate school is great but one down fall is that it has been difficult for me to read for leisure due to the many chapters I have to read in one week!  I’m really looking forward to walking across that stage next year so I can get into my library collection! And of course follow my dreams…..But back to the library collection.

Mary J. Blige had a nearly career-ending battle with drugs and alcohol — but in the end, love saved all. In the latest episode of VH1′s ‘Behind the Music,’ the hip-hop legend reveals how it was the love and support of her husband, Martin Kendu Isaacs, that helped put her back on the right track.

The song 'Feel Inside' is reportedly not the next single from Mary J's soon to be released CD  'My Life II: The Journey Continues'.  Mary has enlisted the talents of Nicki in a few verse's of the song.  Although this is not the first time Mary has recruited a female rapper to accompany her on a song.  In 1997, Lil Kim added her flava' to Mary J's " I Can Love You."
