T.I.'s beef with Floyd Mayweather is back on.

On Thursday night (Feb. 14), Tip dropped "Fuck Nigga," a scathing diss track aimed at the professional boxer after he was caught on a shopping spree at a Gucci store in Beverly Hills, Calif. amid the backlash the luxury brand has received for its sweater that's drawn comparisons to blackface.

Once he brushed off the controversy and continued to shop at the store, Tip went in on the boxer on his new song.

"You act like no more poor people struggling after you, like you were the last/Nigga you trash," Tip spits, suggesting the idea that Mayweather doesn't care to support people less fortunate than himself. "You wouldn't never get big as you is, if the folk in the hood wasn't supporting your ass/See them same people that's taking a stand, give you the chance, you showing your ass/I don't give a fuck how much money you have/What did you do with it? How did you use it, to make an impact and influence the world for the better?"

The cover art for the song features Mayweather wearing the black, balaclava sweater, which featured a pull-up neck and red lips that mirror vintage blackface imagery. In the song, Tip doesn't mention Mayweather by name but he does respond to the comments the boxer made outside of the Gucci store.

"I promise you I see the bitch in these niggas, do more with less 'cause I ain't richer than these niggas," Tip says in the conclusion of the song. "I think I just had an epiphany, listen to ego/Where the creeps go when they're sacrificing they own people, I swear, all the money in the world ain't enough, nigga/If it mean I gotta live like a fuck nigga."

Around the same time Tip dropped off his Mayweather diss, Floyd ended up responding to people criticizing his decision to support Gucci. In the post, Mayweather calls his critics hypocrites.

In part of his response, Mayweather wrote, "The same celebrities stirring the pot over brands that they, without doubt, will continually buy, are the same artists that inject rap lyrics fueled with drugs, murder and sexual promiscuity into the very Black Communities you’re pretending to care so much about. … Should we boycott their music and record labels as well or do we learn to communicate and bring solutions to the problems we’re facing as a whole?"
