Solange to Bring ‘A Seat At The Table’ to Museums This Year

Solange isn't planning to embark on an "official" tour in support of her acclaimed album, A Seat At The Table, but she will be performing at various museums this year.

Already, the singer is set to perform a new version of her show at NYC’s Guggenheim Museum as part of Red Bull Music Academy’s month-long installation, but she told Complex that she also has plans to perform at other museums as well.

Of course, she's doing a slew festivals throughout the spring and summer and says that she has two different shows for her festival appearances and the performances at the museums, saying the latter is more performance art-based.

“No, there’s no tour in the works—Right now I have two different shows. I have one that is more a performance piece show that is being performed in museums—and more in the art context. And then I have festival shows. As of now, I’ve not scheduled a proper tour in the more traditional sense,” she explained to publication.
