TMZ reports that Rick Ross has struck a plea deal in his kidnapping case.

Ross faced kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and other charges for allegedly holding a groundskeeper on his Georgia estate at gunpoint and pistol whipping the man back in 2015.  The rapper pled no contest to one count of felony aggravated assault in a Fayette County court. He was sentenced to time served in jail (he was there for a week following the incident), and has to pay $10,000 fine, at which point the felony conviction will be erased from his record.

Ross also pled no contest to five misdemeanors— assault, battery, two counts of pointing a pistol at someone, and possession of less than 1 oz of marijuana—and was thus given 60 months of probation. His travel, however, will not be restricted, which is great for him because he has a critically-acclaimed album, Rather You Than Me, to promote.
